I spent the whole of last week in Spain, emerging myself in the food, the culture, the language, the landscape and more. While the weather may not have been great all the time, it was great to get out of London for a bit and not focus on anything other than trying to experience as much as possible. But as this isn’t a travel, let’s talk about the important stuff: beauty, hair, and skincare.
I use a minimum of five products and knew this week would be most tricky for my hair. Obviously, space was a bit limited so I opted for the two products that have been there from the beginning: Blue Magic tea tree conditioner and Paltas BKC conditioning spray. These kept my hair soft and moisturised even if they didn’t do much for all the frizziness. As soon as I got back, I treated my hair to a bit of TLC (which I’ll share details for on Friday).
You’ll know that I’ve recently become pretty obsessed with skincare which raised another issue for me, on par to that of my hair. I knew I wouldn’t be able to bring everything with me, so I stuck to the basics: Fresh Rose face cream (I transferred some into my old Black Tea Mask container), Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen, Fresh Seaberry Oil, Fresh Soy Cleanser. It sounds like a lot, but as you can see from the pictures, I made good use of sample packaging to make sure everything was travel-friendly.

BEAUTY
For some strange reason, I rarely wear makeup when I’m abroad so I knew I wouldn’t have to stress in terms of what to pack, especially compared to my hair and skincare. It also helps that my beauty routine is pretty basic anyway. All I brought was my Dream Matte Mousse and my mascara, and in the end, I only wore makeup twice!
As I travel more and more, I think I’ll soon have these essentials nailed down to a T without having to sacrifice my usual routine.
