Bienvenidos from Spain! If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen I’m currently on holiday in Spain. As you know, every time I go away I like to share the skincare bits I’ve managed to bring with me. But as each time I go away, my skincare routine grows more complex, requiring more products, knowing what to bring also becomes slightly trickier – especially when you factor in liquid restrictions. For this trip, I was travelling out of Gatwick, which as I’ve mentioned before, allow for bigger bags meaning more product allowance!
Everything I brought
v The Ordinary Mandelic Acid 10%
- I tried this acid for the first time late last year, but after overdoing it a little bit (and peeling a lot), I decided to give this a break. About a week before I came to Spain, I started using it again to see if it would really make a difference in my skin texture and discolouration. As such, I knew I had to bring it with me if I wanted to give it a real chance.
v Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Dream Face CreamSuper Lotus Night Recovery
- I recently wrote about my new spring/summer night cream, so naturally, this bad boy had to come with me. I like to put this on after my acid and right before I go to sleep.
v Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Face Serum
- I don’t know where I would be without this serum that has consistently kept my face hydrated, smooth and nourished for months. Before I even considered products to bring with me, this was already on the list.
v Fresh Rose Floral Toner
- Another product that had already made the list before there even was one. I even made the point of ordering the smaller travel size so that I could bring it with me. However, I received this one as a free gift with a Fresh purchase.
v Fresh Black Tea Age-Delay Firming Serum
- My Rose Deep Hydration Face Serum had been feeling a little light recently so I brought this sample to use as a backup in case my other serum finished during the trip. I also thought it would be a good chance for me to give this serum a second chance.
v Nivea Sun UV Face Q10 Anti-Age &Anti-Pigments sunscreen
- My new favourite face sunscreen obviously had to travel with me.
v Fresh Black Tea Age-Delay Eye Concentrate
- My Q10 Plus C Anti-Wrinkle + Energy Eye Cream was literally on its last legs (I only managed an extra two days of usage before it ran out), so I brought this sample along to tide me over and to save me to spending money on other products. I’ve been really enjoying using this eye cream and am considering purchasing the full size.
v Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream
- Even though I wasn’t the biggest fan back when I tried this face cream a while ago, I brought this sample along because it was small enough to fit. Since I’ve been using for the last couple of days I’ve completely fallen in love it.
v Fresh Seaberry Skin Nutrition Cleansing Oil
- I brought this with me because I was going to be bringing my makeup, but I actually forgot to bring any with me… However, I’ve been double cleansing anyway in the hope to help keep my skin sane.
v Fresh Soy Face Cleanser
- I’ve been using the Clean & Clear Advantage Spot Control Daily Wash for the last couple of months and thought I’d be able to find a travel size one for this trip. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find one anywhere, so I brought this cleanser with me instead.
v Fresh Rose Face Mask
- A travel essential that literally comes with me EVERYWHERE, there was no way I was going to come without these trusty samples.
v Nivea Q10 Plus C Anti-Wrinkle + Energy Eye Cream
- You know how much I love this eye cream. It was really close to finishing (as mentioned above), but because I had been spending a lot of money right before this trip, I didn’t want to buy another one. While I do miss using this, I’m really liking the replacement eye cream I’ve been using in its place.
v Blue Magic Tea Tree Oil Leave-In Conditioner
- Okay, so this isn’t skincare exactly but it still counts as a liquid. I always travel with this leave-in conditioner because it’s great for my hair and helps keep it really moisturised and nourished, and means I don’t need to bring all five of my hair products.
v Paltas B.K.C. Leave-In Conditioning Spray
- Another hair product that I always travel with, I love this conditioning spray because it’s easy to use on-the-go and makes doing my hair take no time.
Next week, I’m sharing my holiday morning and nighttime routine, so check back then to find out all the details.
