I’m currently on holiday in Sardinia (p.s it’s literally such an amazingly beautiful island and I couldn’t recommend it enough). It’s my third trip abroad this year, which made knowing HOW to pack effectively easy. But it’s my first trip since stepping up my skincare routine, which made knowing WHAT to pack a little tricky. Couple that with the hand luggage liquid restrictions and having to fit everything into those tiny bags Stansted gives you (travelling through Gatwick is so much better because they give bigger bags), I was very lost on what to bring and ended up missing some crucial bits. Here’s a rundown of everything I took.
WHAT I BROUGHT
I was mostly focused on making sure my face would be well moisturised, so I made sure to pack my Nivea day and night creams and my Nivea eye cream. I knew I wouldn’t be able to bring any black soap, so settled on my Fresh Soy Face Cleanser. I also made sure to bring some sunscreen. However, after the crazy heat and my intense tan on the second day, I bought a massive bottle of SPF50 to help see me through (I have a review for this coming soon).
WHAT I LEFT
I’m still kicking myself for forgetting a few ESSENTIAL essentials like a face mask and a scrub. I can feel that my skin is kind of sort of definitely freaking out without a really deep clean. And I’ve got the pimples to prove it.
Make sure you stay tuned for Friday’s post when I’ll be sharing the number one hair product I always travel with. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to spend the rest of the day beach hopping.
