This is a post I’ve been super excited looking forward to sharing for over a month. In today’s post, I’m going to be sharing details from Patricia Bright’s curated October Cosmetips beauty box. For those who are unfamiliar (firstly I can’t believe you don’t know who she is – no shade), Pat, as I like to call her, is the black British beauty YouTuber who’s been creating videos for the longest time. I’ve been following her for well over five years and look up to her as a woman, a black woman and an incredible businesswoman inspiration. This post is going to be a long one, so I’ve split it into four sections: In the Box, Beauty, Skincare and Thoughts. And before you say anything, I know that I ’m talking about an October beauty box when we’re in November, but I talk more about this in my Sunday YouTube video. Now, I hope you’re comfortable with a cup of something warm; let’s get into the post.
In The Box
The Cosmetips October Beauty Box was packed with countless skincare, makeup and beauty tool goodies. In the box, I received the Huda Beauty Rose Gold Remastered eyeshadow palette, a Nars blush in Orgasm, the Nars Powermatte Lip Pigment lip gloss in Slow Ride, the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder, Spectrum Zodiac 5 Piece Face Brush Set, the Murad AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser, the Sunday Riley Ultra-Clarifying Facial Oil, and the Elemis Dynamic Resurfacing Day Cream SPF30.
Beauty
If you’ve been following me on YouTube, you’ll see that I’ve been trying to get back into makeup lately. I can’t wait to start practising with this Huda Beauty Rose Gold Remastered eyeshadow palette. I’m also extremely excited to finally try the Nars blush (I’ve had my eye on it for a while) and the lip gloss.
Skincare
Okay, now you guys know I love my skincare and trying new products, so it kind of definitely obviously goes without saying that these picks are life.
Thoughts
It’s fair to say that this box is EVERYTHING. From the premium skincare products to the luxe makeup offerings, this beauty box ticks so many boxes for me. Unsurprisingly, I’m most excited about the Sunday Riley U.F.O face oil, as I’ve had my eye on it for about a year now. I’m also very excited about the Murad cleanser and the Elemis face cream.
As for the makeup, I’m looking forward to creating some new looks and trying something different. I recently said that one of my New Year resolutions is to get good at doing my makeup, so having these products will definitely help me a lot.
