I touched upon this a few weeks ago when I shared the two new oils I bought, but after reading so much good stuff about one particular oil, I really wanted to dedicate a whole post to it. So, the oil in question? Onion oil.
The first thing I read about onion oil is that it is incredible for hair growth as onions are great for nourishing hair follicles, whilst also replacing lost nutrients. Onion oil helps reduce breakage and thinning; fight dandruff and other scalp infections – in fact you could say onion oil is a scalp’s best friend; and improve blood circulation.
The last thing about onion oil (that I’m surprised I didn’t know about until it was way too late as in until I was uncapping the bottle) is the smell is something else. Somewhere between expired vinegar mixed with egg, the smell is somewhat potent and should probably be used with another nice smelling product so as not to knock you out mid-application.
I’ve been diligently using my onion oil, so you can expect a post about what it’s done for my hair, in the coming weeks.
