A couple of months ago, NYX Cosmetics came out with a foundation that completely changed the game. Made up of a whopping 45 shades, with medium buildable coverage, their Born to Glow foundation was seriously born to shine. I first bought the shades Cappuccino and Warm Mahogany when they were on sale at ASOS, but recently bought the shade Sienna. I’ve been wearing Cappuccino every day for the last two months and omg when I say you NEED this foundation, I really mean it.
The coverage of Born to Glow is incredible. If you’ve watched any of my YouTube videos, you’ll know that I have some serious dark spots on my face. However, when I wear this, they are effortlessly covered without looking like I’ve caked product on my face. Surprisingly, this foundation is very lightweight, even though the coverage is insanely good.
Like I mentioned above, I wear Cappuccino. Right now, it’s the perfect shade when blended properly – even though at first application it looks a big light. I’ve found that this foundation lasts me throughout the day and I don’t need to worry about touch-ups. I’ve been complimented on how glowy and dewy my skin looks when I wear this foundation (bonus points for that), and I love how it doesn’t dry out my skin *cough* Maybelline Dream Urban Cover *cough*. I like to wear this with the NYX Bare With Me Tinted Skin Veil underneath because both combined make up skin look UH-MAZ-ING!
If you’re on the lookout for a new foundation that’ll give you a glowy, fresh-looking finish and that doesn’t break the bank, then I could not recommend this foundation enough. They retail for about £10, but if you’re lucky, you can get them for about £8 on sale on ASOS every now and again.
