I feel as though I’ve wanted to try this cream out for the longest time. If you’ve been following the blog for a while you’ll know that I’ve been using other products in this collection such as the Nivea Q10 Plus C Anti-Wrinkle + Energy Eye Cream (my all-time fave) and the Nivea Q10 Plus C Anti-Wrinkle + Energy Day Cream (slowly becoming an all-time fave). If you’re new to the blog, welcome. You will most definitely be seeing more of these products because I’m a broken record when it comes to things I love. Anyway, back to the night cream.
My sister first used it a few months ago and felt that I didn’t do much for her. As such she tried to persuade me against buying this cream, but I didn’t listen. After the great results I had seen with the eye cream I didn’t want to pass on this.
What’s in it and how does it work?
Like the eye cream and day cream, this night cream has vitamin C (ideal for hyperpigmentation, discoloration etc) and Q10 enzymes (an antioxidant that’s ideal for improving skin’s elasticity). This cream works to brighten skin while reducing the appearance of wrinkles (literally the least of my concerns) and helping you look more awake. I obviously only want this for the vitamin C that should help with all my hyperpigmentation.
How do I use it?
I put this on after I’ve used my Fresh Rose Floran Toner, Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Serum and eye cream; and right before I moisturise at night. It’s not thick at all, so it’s the perfect product to apply before I put on my thick Nivea Pure & Natural Regenerating Night Cream.
In all honesty, I’ve been using this cream for the last couple of weeks and haven’t noticed much of a change in my face yet. However, I think this is one of those “slow and steady” products that take time to work with your face. I’m holding out hope that in a few months’ time I’ll really start to notice a difference.
