Over Black Friday weekend, I dipped my toe into Glossier makeup for the first time and bought their popular Cloud Paint blush. While I’ve shopped at Glossier before and knew they sold makeup, they weren’t really a brand I ever considered for beauty products. In fact, it was actually my friend at work who put me on to Cloud Paint and recommended it to me.
Based on the colours the model was wearing, I settled on two colours: Haze and Storm. I also had my eye on Dawn, but I’ll get that another time (stay tuned). According to Glossier, Cloud Paint is a “seamless, buildable gel-cream blush” that’s easy to apply and wear. It comes in six colours that work across different skin tones. If you’re sceptical like I was, then see how each shade looks on the different models. I found this very useful when figuring out which colours to get.
I’ve been wearing Storm for the past week and I. AM. OBSESSED. It’s got a slightly browny-red twist to it that gives me a really natural flush and glow.
While Storm is more natural, Haze is a raspberry almost fuchsia pink colour, but once blended out, looks less intense.

Next on my Glossier makeup wishlist is their Generation G lipstick, another recommendation from my friend at work.
I also received a sample of Glossier’s new Futuredew serum, which I can’t wait to try. Make sure you keep an eye on my YouTube channel and blog for more.
