I started using this right after I had finished my Sugar Polish Face Scrub, and thought it would be very similar, which was very silly of me.
omg i WISH you could smell this through the screen! |
The first thing I noticed (aside from the smell which smelt like a mix of mango, passion fruit and papaya) was its jelly-like consistency that looked so edible I’m surprised I didn’t eat some.
When I first put it on my face, I felt a tingling sensation that remained even after I had cleaned it off my face. I’m not sure if that’s normal, but I took it as a kind of initiation.
i love me some jelly |
resisting the urge to lick my face was very hard |
As much as I love this face mask so far, there is one tiny niggle. Cleaning it off my face. The jar suggests you use a washcloth or cotton pad, but as I don’t like using things like that I’ve been left having to use my hands to clean it off. The fruit extracts make it a little tricky to successfully remove the mask, so I see why they recommend using other things to take it off. That said, I’ll keep using my hands until I find it utterly unbearable.
after ten minutes in the shower, the fruit extracts had gone a bit hard |
Even after the first use, I could feel its benefits straightaway, and the next morning I noticed how bright, lively and brown my face was. My face was also incredibly soft and my foundation glided on like a total dream – more so than when I used the Sugar Polish.
and it’s off… |
Stay tuned to find out how this face mask works out for me.
