The first thing I noticed about the face mask was the smell. It smelt so nice and refreshing like rose. I’m sure what I was expecting, but when I was squeezing the product from the sachet, I was surprised to find dark orangey/pink gel inside. You can’t really tell from the pictures but the orange gel had bits in it, which I assume were the rose petals. The gel really reminded of the raspberry jelly with fruit chunks that I used to eat.
Disclaimer: I probably spent more time trying to open the sample than I did having it on my face ahaha.
i look sweaty, but that’s the mask |
Anyway, as per the directions I applied the gel to my face and kept it on for about 7 minutes. The mask was cooling and soothed my rashy skin. I could also feel it tighten a little bit as the mask dried on my face. The thing I loved the most about the mask was how light and thin it was so my skin didn’t feel so burdened with product.
Would I buy the full size product? Most probably. Like I mentioned in Tuesday’s post about the black tea night mask, on account of the price, it would definitely be an investment and not something I’d just buy without thinking about it through thoroughly. Check back next week when I share my next sample experience.
