If you’ve been following my blog for any period of time, you’ll know that I am OBSESSED with mascara – I’d even go as far as saying it’s my favourite piece of makeup. A simple yet oh so game-changing product that can change a look in an instant, I love my mascara to make my lashes dramatic, bold and eye-catching. As such, I’m very discerning when it comes to mascara and know the failsafe options that promise to deliver on volume every time. In today’s post, I’m going to share my two favourite must-have mascaras you need in your collection. And what’s more, these won’t break the bank!
Rimmel London Wonder’Luxe Volume Mascara Extreme Black
I think it’s important I specify the exact colour because I had some issues with the regular Black version. Surprisingly though, it was the Extreme Black that made me fall in love with this line from Rimmel London. I was already a massive fan of the Wonder range which gave me lashes I never knew I could get, but this mascara blew everything out of the water with its might pigment and nylon fibres that made my lashes superhuman. I kid you not, I got compliments and people asking if my lashes were real almost weekly with this mascara – which you know is the best compliment you could ever give me.
Rimmel London Wonder’Fully Real Mascara
This was the very first Rimmel London mascara I purposely bought on repeat and continuously recommended to people. I loved how to elongated and separated my lashes, and how with a couple of applications could make my lashes look so big and fake looking. In fact, this was the very first mascara that had people asking me whether I was wearing false lashes!
I’m a firm believer that of all beauty and skincare products, mascara is the one that you don’t need to spend a fortune on. The high street has some great options that cost less than £10, work really well and last for hours. Now that’s not to say I wouldn’t try high-end mascaras from global brands like YSL (because I do have some more expensive ones on my wish list), it just means there are affordable alternatives for when you’re in a pinch. What are some of your favourite mascaras?
