It seems like only yesterday I was picking the Rimmel London Wonder’Luxe Volume Mascara in extreme black from my local Superdrug and featuring it in my new Currently Using series. And now in a blink of an eye, it’s already finished. Keep reading to hear some of my thoughts.
If you’ve been following me for a while, you might be familiar with my gripes with the original Rimmel London Wonder’Luxe Volume Mascara. Even though it gave me the lashes of dreams (eventually), it was a morning daily struggle to get the right amount of product on each eye without ending up with a mismatched looked. I was convinced the mascara needed to come with a manual because it honestly took me so long to get the evenly matched results I knew I deserved – yes it was really that deep. But I’m happy to see that the Wonder’Luxe Volume Mascara has redeemed itself.
Pros
I absolutely loved this mascara. It went on like a dream, giving me evenly matched, fake as f looking lashes (which we know I L-O-V-E love). I’m telling you; there’s really nothing better than someone saying your real lashes look super long and fake. Insert heart-eye emoji lol. If you’re looking for an affordable mascara (this one was only around £8.99) that makes your looks look crazy (in the best way), then you cannot go wrong. Like I always say: you do not need to spend a fortune on mascara when Rimmel is absolutely killing it.
Cons
Compared to the regular one which seemed to cause me so many issues, I have to say that this doesn’t have many cons. If anything, I’d say the only con is that the tube ran out so fast and didn’t feel like it had a whole lot of product inside. That said, however, it could just be that I use a lot of it… I mean, you’ve seen some of my Get Ready With Me videos, right?
Would I Buy It Again?
I would most definitely buy this mascara again. If it wasn’t for the fact that when I originally bought it there was only one left, I would’ve bought two on the spot. I really loved using this mascara and I’m going to miss using this mascara.
