Even though I usually share my recent beauty buys (check out my latest YouTube video for some goodies I bought a few weeks ago) and reviews for products, I don’t always share the bits that I’m currently using. That’s why I wanted to start a new series: Currently Using, where, I share all the products I’m using RIGHT NOW on my hair, skin and face. To kick off the fun, this week and next I’ll be sharing the makeup I’m currently using. For clarity I’ve split this post into three sections: Face, Eyes and Products I’m Looking Forward to Trying.
You guys know that I don’t really wear a whole lot of makeup so my current makeup situation is pretty much the same.
Face
For my foundation I’m using Maybelline’s Dream Matte Mousse in cocoa. I’ve been using this foundation since I was in secondary school and haven’t really deviated from it ever since. I like how lightweight and fluffy it is and how smoothly it applies to my face. I honestly couldn’t recommend this foundation enough. If you’re on a budget and looking for a foundation that comes in many different colours, make sure you check out the Dream Matte Mousse.
Eyes
For my lashes I’m using the Rimmel London Wonder’Luxe Volume in Extreme Black. I only recently started using it and I am in love. I don’t know why, but I prefer to the regular Black Wonder’Luxe Volume mascara. It glides on effortless and brings all the drama I love from my lashes.
Products I’m Looking Forward To Trying
On Sunday I bought the Maybelline Dream Urban Cover foundation in Mocha. I haven’t yet used it (I’m saving it for a future YouTube video to do a big first try/reveal), but I’m excited to give it a try.
I also bought the NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray, to set this foundation and keep it on all day. Again, I’ll keep you posted on when I use it.
