I have my sister to thank for discovering this gem of a hair mask.
The weather over the last few weeks has been INSANE. With temps no lower than 23 degrees and the sun constantly beating down on me, I’ve been worrying about the state of my hair. I knew my hair was in need of some extra TLC, but as all of my deep conditioners and hair masks had finished, I was in a bind. Luckily my sister offered her unopened hair mask. This mask is packed with argan oil which is said to be especially good for dry and sun damaged hair.
You guys know that I’m all about applying product to dry hair, but this time (as I wanted to give my hair an extra special treatment), I rinsed and shampooed my hair first before putting this on my hair.
The consistency of the mask was great and it glided easily onto my damp hair and coated every strand. The smell, on the other hand, was not for me. It had a plastic smell to it which reminded me of some gross body lotions I used to use when I was younger.
It left my hair feeling a tiny bit dry, but that could have also been because shortly after washing my hair I went out to run some errands in the sun. Despite that, I did really like this mask, and I’m happy that my hair was finally able to be repaired after weeks of sun.
