If you’re constantly dealing with blemishes, pimples or acne, then listen up because this Caudalie Vinopure review is for you. Promising to help with oily and combination skin, this skincare line was recommended to me by a Caudalie facialist last year who said this would help with my breakouts.
About Caudalie Vinopure
The Vinopure collection uses natural ingredients like grapevine and their own salicylic formulation, to address skin concerns of those who have blemishes and problems associated with blemished skin. The Caudalie Vinopure line is made up of eight products that have a place for every step of your skincare routine. The products target oily and combination skin by deeply cleansing the pores and reducing inflammation. For Christmas, Caudalie has a Caudalie Vinopure Anti-blemish Routine consisting of the spot control salicylic serum, purifying gel cleanser, moisturising mattifying fluid and salicylic spot solution.
How to use the Caudalie Vinopure collection
L-R: cleanser, serum, moisturiser
I love a simple routine, and it doesn’t get any simpler than this.
Step 1: Wet your face and cleanse
Step 2: Apply serum (I like to apply my Fresh Kombucha Facial Treatment Essence before serum)
Step 3: Moisturise (I like to apply my Fresh Black Tea Age Delay Eye Cream before moisturiser)
Step 4: Sunscreen
What I liked
The smell
If you’re familiar with some of Caudalie’s scents, then you’ll know all about their famous grape fragrance that is strong but not too overpowering. The first thing I noticed (and honestly the thing that made me fall in love with these products) was the smell. That classic floral grape scent instantly lifts your mood and makes for an enjoyable skincare routine.

Ease of use
For a routine that’s super easy and takes no thinking, this one is it. The cleanser is really gentle and feels amazing on the skin – trust me, it’s the best thing to put on your face first thing in the morning. Also that smell, oh my god that smell is so good. If you like a gloopy serum then you’ll love this serum because even though it’s a hair thicker than water, it feels substantial on the skin and absorbs quickly. Now as moisturisers go, this isn’t my favourite (more on that below), but I love how seamlessly the moisturiser applied and settled nicely on my face, leaving me with such a beautiful and natural glow that lasted all morning.
Results
Duh, the most obvious thing I liked about this treatment trio was the outcome. My face was instantly smoother, my texture was more even and of course, my breakouts were reduced. At the end of my four-day run, I noticed my face had a more natural glow that lasted longer and that my original forehead pimples had significantly disappeared.

What I disliked
Moisturiser texture
Though I loved the overall finish of the moisturiser and how it made my face look in the end, I wasn’t a huge fan of its texture. I like my moisturisers to be kind of creamy but the Vinopure one was not. Now, I know it’s supposed to be matte, and for a girl with an oily forehead matte products are what I need, I couldn’t get over the fact that I was missing something a little juicy for my face.

Final thoughts
Of the three, I was most excited by the cleanser (you know I love me a gel cleanser) but the serum was a close second. Even though I don’t have photos to prove it, this trio made such a difference to my face over the four days I was using it. I would love to know what effects using these products long-term could have on my skin – especially as someone prone to a spot or two – so I’ll definitely be buying these full-size Caudalie Vinopure products.

Have you tried these before? And if you have, what were your thoughts? I’d love to hear from you.
