Happy Friday! I hope you’re enjoying the Christmas season and had a lovely day on Wednesday. While I’m still recovering from a self-induced food coma, I wanted to quickly share the Sanex aluminium-free deodorant I bought a couple of weeks ago to replace my Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Botanical Cream Deodorant.
I honestly feel like I’ve hit the jackpot with the Sanex Dermo Invisible 24h Deodorant because it does it all!
It leaves me feeling fresh from the moment I put it on to the moment I step in the shower in the evening. It doesn’t rub off on my clothing (at least it hasn’t done so *yet*). It’s strong enough to withstand my early morning runs for the train, tube and bus (lol). Its floral scent is still taking some getting used to, but once I get dressed I can hardly smell it. It’s free from alcohol and aluminium (duh, I value my health). It was only £2.49 from Superdrug (though I later discovered that it’s cheaper in Sainsbury’s) so there’s no need to break the bank. And finally, I don’t need to use my fingers to apply it!
That said, not everything is always 100% perfect.
The twisty bit at the bottom can be a little tricky to turn – especially with wet hands. The floral smell is definitely a shock compared to the sweet yet refreshing peppermint that I’m used to.
But despite all this, so far so good.
