I should start by saying there are eight B vitamins: B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin), B5 (pantothenic acid), B6 (pyridoxine), B7 (biotin), B9 (folic acid), B12 (cobalamin); and they each do a number of things for the body. Ranging from helping create new cells, regulating the nervous system, producing hormones, fighting infection, promoting growth of red blood cells (which also helps in promoting healthy hair growth), increasing energy, and improving memory, getting your fair share of B vitamins is really important – even if it means drinking your favourite malt drink.
So while water will always be my number one, armed with these B vitamin facts, you can bet I’ll keep drinking malt for a very loooooong time.
