I first used this in 2014 when I stopped wearing my hair in braids after uni, and it quickly became a staple in my hair routine. In the beginning of 2015, I put my braids back in and just as quickly as it became a staple in my life, it quickly disappeared and I didn’t use it again until the end of 2015. When I did start using it again, I remembered why I loved it so much, and as you can imagine it has once again become a staple in my hair routine.
Avon calls this a detangling spray, but as I don’t really comb or brush through my hair all that often, I can’t say too much on that (although if memory serves, it is good at detangling hair). But what I can say about this bottle of magic is that it instantly gives life to my hair every morning and makes it feel thoroughly moisturised and nourished – as well as leaving it smelling oh so dreamy.
It’s not thick and clumpy like some products, so my hair always feels light and soft. And even though it feels a bit thin and watery, it does such a great job keeping my hair moisture all day. The bottle also says it is geared towards dry or damaged hair and leaving it feeling revitalised and less prone to breakage. Which if you ask me is TOTALLY AWESOME, especially considering quite a bit of my hair has broken. I’m seeing a lot less breakage, and my hair is growing stronger by the day!
And lastly, I have no idea how shea is supposed to be pronounced…? Is it Shay or Shee-a?
