Now, you would think that being out of the country on holiday would deter me from my nighttime routine, but you would be very wrong. After all, with all those samples I showed you in Friday’s post, it would crazy and super unproductive of me to NOT at least dedicate some time to my face. I recently shared everything that goes down during my typical nighttime routine on a regular day at home, but today I’m showing you a holiday nighttime routine. On this particular day, I had been out in the sweltering heat, (me and) my skin was tired and needed some much needed TCL. Let’s go.
Okay, so I didn’t take pictures of each stage, but you’ve seen these products in use before, so you can trust the process.

I started with the Seaberry Cleansing Oil to remove all the oil, dirt and makeup from the day (yes I wore makeup on holiday for like the first time ever!!), making sure to really massage it all over my face. I used my fingers to get to the delicate areas like my eyes, jaw, chin and forehead. After rinsing that off, I went in with the Soy Cleanser. I must say that even though I didn’t think it was that great when I was last using it; when I used it again for the first time in months – I absolutely loved it! It was like the calming, cooling, soothing tall drink of water my skin had been after. Also that smell was heavenly and oh so welcoming. Once that was all massaged in and rinsed, I turned to my new favourite Umbrian Clay Mask (post on this coming really soon next week, I promise). I kept this on while I jumped in the shower to wash off the 29°c heat from the day then rinsed it offer when I was done.
I let my face air dry a little bit before I moisturised with some Nivea lotion (even though I feel like one of those serum samples should have made an appearance instead), and then totally smothered my face and neck in the Black Tea Overnight Mask. Again, after using this for the first time in months, I see that my skin really missed and needed it. When I woke up the next morning, my face was super soft, hydrated, looked more even and was probably better than it had been all holiday. I’m now seriously starting to consider buying this because obviously, my skin loves it.

And there you have it, my holiday nighttime routine. Just because you’re travelling or away from your usual roster of beauty products, doesn’t mean you need to sacrifice your routine or skin. Simply packing an array of smaller samples will have you sorted for over a week (I mean just look at all of mine) and will take up to no space in your bag. And trust me, your skin will thank you for it!
